"It has a friendly environment, very close to all the attractions. The owner was kind enough to provide us with a iron which we needed. Breakfast is fantastic with variety of choices. Highly recommend it to everyone visiting Konya. "

Sleep on floor and broken shower

"We booked 2 rooms from hotels.com. When we checked in, there was only one room available. Front desk didn’t know our booking. After waiting about 10 minutes, BAKIŞ OTEL gave us second room with only one single bed. A extra mattress was got so that I could sleep on floor. Shower was broken too"

"This is an utterly charming hotel! Bare bones, but comfortable, clean, welcoming and everything you would want on your visit to Mevlana. You can see the tomb from your room. The hotel is literally on the street of the tomb area. You can feel the sweetness of the ziyara right there. The beautiful patio is a perfect place to be quiet and reflect, read a book, write in your journal, or gather with your companions to enjoy the day. The staff are wonderful. The food is absolutely terrific. I know someone who did a retreat here for a longer stay and I can see why. "

1 night is not enough!

"Sadly it was for only 1 night. Loved the stay, the location and the ruins! The staff were very friendly and arranged a night for us to see the whirling dervishes. It was amazing. Next time will come for a week! I wasn’t a fan of the buffet and it didn’t seem possible to order anything so the restaurant was a bust but there are great food options around the corner! "
