"Great hotel and location "

"The hotel is well situated in the centre of Bakewell, only stayed for one night in a classic room (the basic) which was large, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in hotel restaurant the evening menu was a bit limited for me (I’m a fussy eater) but the food was good, breakfast was excellent good variety on continental and freshly cooked hot breakfast and the dining room staff were friendly and helpful. All together I have no complaints "

"Beautiful hotel in a great location. Good breakfast and lovely spa facilities. The staff are all very friendly are helpful. Note: There are no parking facilities unless you want to pay £30 for valet off site parking. "

"The room was compact but lovely. I was dissapointed thay we had to pay extra for a swim. It does say that it is part of the spa but it is also is under hotels with pools "

"We were checked in to the wrong room but were given the option to move the next day. "

"Very good for our one night stay. Just a shame that you have to pay for parking in the hotel car park on top of the room price. "
