"This place was lovely, in a less touristy part of Moorea. The pool was fantastic, views on the beach were great, and a lovely breakfast delivered to our kitchen everyday. We did have problems with the air conditioner, but the owner went out of his way to ensure it was repaired (on a Holiday weekend—thank you!). "Our stay was wonderful! The hotel staff is very friendly and everything was super clean. The whole hotel, beginning from the garden, over to the house and the pier had lovely details wherever you look. No matter if its plants or flowers, deco elemants or art. "The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"

"Small newer bungalows with an eager staff to please. Very quiet property. Kitchens in rooms so you can shop and make your breakfast at least. A little pricey ( but So is everything in FP) on the breakfast that you can pay for. Very quiet area of the island. "I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...
