Chalets in Mora County

This is a very quaint older motel with a true feel of New Mexico. We stayed in the king suite with a fireplace. The staff was attentive. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. The morning southwest breakfast is included and delicious. The two people who prepare the breakfast are wonderful. We had a little confusing in the check in but it was worked out. I had read that the breakfast was great, however, we are vegetarians so i thought we wouldn't get to eat. When we entered the dining area we talked with the owners who make all the food themselves. They were able to make our order vegetarian. It was the most amazing breakfast ever. The blueberry crumble muffins and the breakfast burritos were unbelievable.

The owners are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much.

OTGH is wonderful. The room was delightful, spacious and nicely fitted. There was a private patio out the back and the front faced into a courtyard with a fountain. The breakfasts were all delicious - no options but different every day. Endless coffee helped! Location is on the edge of town but easy to get to anywhere. I will definitely return. N

Ernesto the owner was top notch! There was a bit of a snafu with a broken propane line during our stay, causing the b&b to be sans hot water. But honestly, it was fine. With such a relaxing atmosphere, stunning scenery, and quaint eclectic accommodations, who even needs hot water?! He prepared a wonderful breakfast that was traditional for the area-the mexican hot chocolate is to die for! The staff here couldn't be nicer. They are willing to help with anything you need & if they don't have it they will find it for you. Beautiful hotel!

Lovely hotel where I have stayed before. Staff is very friendly and, location is superb. Amenities like parking and breakfast complete the experience.

Newly renovated older motel on the main highway into Taos, New Mexico. Excellent renovation. Spacious shower in beautifully tiled bathroom. One possible issue for some guests: very soft beds which might not suit persons with back problems. Best price in town on the date I stayed.
