"Borthwen b&b is a fantastic place to stay. Colin and Lisa were such kind and caring hosts and nothing was too much trouble. It was my partners birthday and they even put a birthday candle on his breakfast, he was thrilled to bits! The b&b was spotless, quiet and very comfortable, and the view from there is spectacular. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had and they were able to provide me a vegetarian option which was much appreciated....

Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks. "The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property."

"Nice property. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the one night we stayed but the morning breakfast was good. At base of hill where harlech castle sits. Good exercise! Would recommend."
