1. Hotel Belmont

Moroeni

"The location is great, surrounded by Bucegi mountains, great view of the peaks covered in snow and green forests from the panoramic view room's bed and terrace. The newly expanded indoor pool and outdoor terrace are a smart addition, with a good spa. The tennis courts and kids playing areas are well maintained. All staff was extremely nice and professional, good food, abundant breakfast. Fresh trout from their own yard basins. Will definitely try returning at Belmont."

Every amenity I loke was there: tea kettle, refrigerator, ( a kitchen) , lovely robes and slippers, beautiful new bathroom with soaps and gels, makeup mirror, bathtub!! Incredibly comfortable. This is a sweet alpine hotel set atop the hill of Sinaia. The rooms are large, and it is worth the extra to get a room with a balcony to sit outside beneath the pine forest; and some rooms have a view of the valley. Modern bathrooms and showers, coffee and kettle. Overall fairly quiet on a summer weeknight. Staff is very helpful, allowing me to check in as I arrived early, and the free breakfast was very good with traditional cheeses, meats, eggs, veggies. croissants and pastries. Expect to do a...

We stayed in the Suite, which had a big bedroom for us and a smaller one for the kids. The architecture and decorations resemble Transylvanian roots with a modern touch. We loved the pressed artwork and wished we could buy one to take home :). The pillows, bedsheets and towels were high quality. And the shower head had all sorts of "massaging modes" that were amazing after a hike. Same attention to detail is showcased throughout the property. The spa had a fairly warm indoor swimming pool, with...

Hotel Carpathia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Carpathia. It was right on the main street of Sinaia and between a 5-10 minute walk to any of the restaurants in the town. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and our room was comfortable and quiet. We kept our windows open to cool the room. Also, be careful in the shower, as we found that water tended to spill out onto the floor. We found a terrific guide in Sorin Popescu, a cab driver who provided us with a terrific...
