"Nice room. My husband (who did plumbing maintenance for rental properties) had a difficult time with the shower - it was scorching hot or cold - and getting a comfortable temperature seemed impossible. Otherwise we were satisfied with our stay here."

"It didn’t bother us much, but be aware that there is a cute little hot dog restaurant that is open Thursday-Sunday and they play music all day. It’s not too loud and we happen to like the music so it wasn’t a big deal to us. They close at 7pm every night. We loved our cute little quaint cottage by the sea. We also loved being under a beautiful tree. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. One morning there were some deer in the parking lot! Such a magical place. We will definitely stay here again."

"The rooms was fine and although dated. All fixtures and bathroom were updated. Balcony was too small to really use with a solid wood wall so high you could not see over even if you could sit on the chairs. Breakfast was adequate, no hot items , except waffles. Room was very clean"

"The property was perfect, right on the beach. The restaurant across the street was excellent also and convenient. The lady at the front desk was very nice and very accommodating. It was my birthday she noticed on my license and gifted me a little collection of chocolates from a local chocolate shop located on the wharf. Perfect stay will definitely see you soon!"

"The rooms were rather beat up and old but they were basically clean. When we came to the desk for check in the woman there seemed passive very uninterested probably because they can't really do anything themselves anymore (we were friends who wanted adjoining rooms). I've been to Asilomar off and on for years, several times with big family groups, once with a big group meeting, and perhaps five times with my husband alone as a getaway. I loved it when I knew the people at the desk and they seemed to remember me. I most love the big lodge and the fireplace in early mornings and cold evenings; the beautiful grounds; the boardwalk through the natural areas; and the walk along Asilomar Beach. I appreciate that it's one of the few places left on which migrating birds can land to rest. I'll always come back."

"Our stay at the Rosedale Inn was the highlight of our California trip. Great location, very friendly and helpful front desk person. Rooms were so nicely decorated and the fireplace was a very comfortable touch. The big jacuzzi bathtub was so nice to just soak in after a long day of driving. The entrance to the 17 mile drive was very close by. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this Inn..."

"The property is gorgeous, tastefully decorated and the beds were wonderfully comfortable with high quality linens!! The rugs and floors could use a good cleaning, but slippers were provided, which was helpful. The hosts have anticipated as many needs as possible, which was wonderful. We were traveling with young children and felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend, despite an easily overlooked issue."
