"The staff are fantastic. I notified a member of the bar staff that we had a booking and he got me checked in immediately, sorted our keys out for us and showed me the room. He gave me good detail about the hotel and the fire exits, door keys etc. The rooms are separated from the pub by a locked door that you're given a key for. This is very reassuring and secure. The pub itself was quiet before too late so getting to sleep was easy.
The fan in the room was very much appreciated as we stayed during the heat wave. The rooms are nice and clean, the bathroom is very well appointed and again clean to a very good standard. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the TV was well connected with good reception. The parking on the property was ample for us, we arrived on a Saturday night and didnt struggle for a space. There is a tablet to register your cars registration upon check in, its very easy to use, though I think I may have entered the wrong registration personally. 😅 im still waiting for a parking notice to come through the door. Hopefully I didnt.
Anyway, the fairways was in a perfect location for us, we were visiting Manchester for the Half Marathon and wanted to stay outside the city centre in case it was too busy. This was ideal. A short 12 minute or so drive into the city centre the next morning ready for the run.
