"The hotel is in an excellent location - 1 or 2 minutes walk from the water bus stop when travelling from the airport, and close to St Mark's Square. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff are really helpful. We would definitely stay here again."

"First of all, it’s an old building and that’s expected from Venice, but the furniture and carpet inside the rooms really need to change. There was some amount of dust which questions whether rooms are properly vacuumed. The bedsheets are clean but I noticed 5 insect bites on my right upper leg in the morning. I know what a mosquito bite looks like so this was not it. The rooms are not sound proof - I could clearly hear the guests in the other room talking. Breakfast was ok."

"The room was very clean and neat. Great view, but room was smaller than I expected. It does have everything you need. There is an elevator wich is wonderful esp. If you have a large suitcase. Centrally located to everything. Breakfast was generous. Staff was very attentive and all of staff spoke English and spanish which was a huge plus. Very helpfull with map of town. "

"The hotel location is excellent. It is just behind the square so you have easy access to all the bars and restaurants not to mention the Vaparetto stations. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and the breakfast very well priced. Rooms were well layed out, clean and had free coffee and water."

"The room was very clean, air conditioned but particularly small. There is very little space for 2 adults. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Hotel was in great location. Breakfast was good and a bonus in a city hotel."

"Upon checking in, unfortunately we were not at all impressed with what we got for the price. This is a tiny room with a tiny bathroom. And in that tiny tub shower the water kind of just weakly “fell” out of the shower head. My husband and I were shoulder to shoulder at all times. The bed mattress was weak. The walls are fabric and dusty, and the room is dimly lit. All of this wouldn’t be an issue if we felt it was priced accordingly. We searched online and found comparable hotels in the vicinity at significantly better prices. It was just an unfortunate surprise upon checking in. Venice is still beautiful, but this hotel needs lots of updates."
