Beautiful historic hotel in a quaint downtown area. Very walkable to restaurants and bars. The air conditioner made a loud noise but that’s just my opinion and might not bother others. Large room and bathroom. I will definitely stay again.

The hotel is in the most amazing location and the view from the dock is incredible. The bed wasn’t very comfy and the bathroom is very tiny but we understood it was a historical property.

The property itself is beautiful. Gorgeous, large pool overlooking the lake. One of the two rooms our family booked smelled like mildew. The other room didn't cool very well. The coffee is only served from 8-10 am, and there are no coffee makers or microwaves in the rooms. When I asked the front desk if I could microwave some leftovers, she let me use the employee microwave. The next day when my husband asked, they said no.

There’s just something about staying in a historic Inn. The Lakeside Inn is a beautiful old property with a great pool and a beautiful view of the lake entertainment in the lounge is quite nice. The room was very comfortable as well as the bed. This is a busy Property so if you are going please book early the location for downtown Mount Dora is perfect. I have stayed many times and it is always been very clean and comfortable, and the employees are great.

Quaint historic property on a beautiful lake at the center of a town filled with excellent shops and restaurants. With that, the amenities (bathrooms, outlets, furniture) aren't up to a modern hotel, and there are lots of stairs and no elevators. Very relaxing with a very attentive staff otherwise.

The property is magnificent. The staff is excellent. The rooms are on in dire need of upgrading. The rooms are so small which probably explains why there is no mini fridge or coffee pot. Electric outlets are sparse…one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. Neither convenient.

Lakeside Inn was an awesome place back in time. Mt Dora is a very neat place. It was a great place to relax. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was so so. We stayed in the inn that allowed dogs of which I am grateful. It had old dirty carpet and the cleaning staff was super loud but the place as a whole was worth the stay. The lake was beautiful. I’d stay again.

Very quaint hotel. Three restaurants in main building. Hotel has been thoughtfully restored and there were workers repairing things all over the property while we were there. Nice pool area with bar. If you have trouble with stairs there is a ramp to main check-in area and restaurants, but no elevator to upper level rooms. Ask for first floor if you dread stairs. Within walking distance to the many restaurants and shops. Boat tours of lake and channels also nearby.

The stay at the Inn was peaceful and quaint. The staff was very helpful in suggesting places to visit and eat (other than at the Inn, which had nice dining facilities). Heads up though - there isn’t an elevator, so luggage has to be carried up one flight of stairs.
