Lied to about availability of the pool when I phoned to ask about the pool hours before check in. They denied it would be closed for the entire stay when directly asked. Closed the whole time. Housekeeping couldn’t have slammed the door to the room next door more times early in the morning if they’d tried. So annoying. They tried to get into the room twice though I’d added a day to the reservation. When I reported the problem to reception, the same woman (always at the desk in the morning) who lied about the pool was quite rude. Coming back to the room after a long day, the key didn’t work. At the desk, I was told, we locked you out. You need to pay the deposit on extra the night you added. They couldn’t have contacted me and politely requested an update to the deposit? What an awful excuse for service.

Called prior to check in regarding the swimming pool hours. They implied the staff was just a little late getting the pool opened that morning. I asked, Is it going to be closed for the next 2 days? The answer was “no”. The receptionist was lying. It was closed “for cleaning” for the entire two day stay. When I asked to extend the stay for another night, housekeeping kept disturbing me trying to get into the room. In between slamming the door of the room next door so many times it was mind blowing. I called reception asking them to tell housekeeping I was staying on so they would stop disturbing me. Their response: I did. Same woman who lied about the pool. No help at all. I returned to room after a tiring day. The key didn’t work. When I went to reception, they said, “We locked you out because you need to pay the deposit for the extra night”. Thanks so much for communicating.

I was sick with a migraine and just when I fell asleep house keeping knocked on the door before 11 even though check out wasn't until 12. I asked for a late check out and they said no because they were sold out and had to get the rooms clean. But I went on Expedia and found 5 of the exact room I was in still available. I called back and said I couldn't get out of bed and would book another night on Expedia and they said I could do that but had to go back down to the check in desk before 12 to check in.

The room was CLEAN. The bathroom was CLEAN. The beds were COMFY. The staff were HELPFUL. I stay in a lot of different places and this one was quite decent! It snowed a lot one night we were there and there were about six staff out and getting the grounds in order. The mini gym was nice, too! Breakfast was full of many options but no gluten free or sugar free.
