"Comfortable, clean hotel with a straight on view of the mountain and toll road. The restaurant on site was good too. The only issue was that the pool was under renovation, so was the bar and the WiFi wasn’t working. But we asked them to waive the resort fee since these amenities weren’t available and they did. "

"We had an amazing stay at this cozy cottage. The house was exactly what we were looking for peaceful, comfortable, and tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting. The hot tub made it feel extra relaxing after long days exploring the area.The cottage was clean, well stocked with the basics, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We especially loved sitting in the main den. the area is very quiet and cozy. The location was perfect too — close to skiing, hiking, restaurants, and all the charm of the White Mountains.The loft bedroom was cozy and private, and the whole place had that perfect rustic New England cabin feel while still being very comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and helpful throughout our stay.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway."

"Friendly staff and main part of hotel appeared cleaner than the room. The room we stayed in needed a serious deep clean. The room smelled like stale cigarettes and smelly feet. We opened the window but there were no screens. The carpet was very stained and likley the cause of the smell. It needs to be shampooed or replaced. I kept my socks on to walk around the room. The sheets were clean but the bedspreads were both stained with what looked like oil. Huge cobweb on the ceiling/wall that's been there a while. We were looking forward to using the pool but it was closed with caution tape. We wanted snacks from vending machine but it was completely empty except for 1 bag of chips. No thanks."

"This house has potential but did not live up to expectations, especially for what we paid. From the dirty dishes and open and expired food in the cupboards; to mouse poop in the utensil tray; to cobwebs, dust and dirt throughout the house, this place is in need of a serious overhaul, cleaning and clean out. "Just gross" were the words from the two military members with me and they've lived and worked in some bad conditions. Majority of the cupboards look like they were loaded by a toddler; 4 junk drawers and not a piece of plastic wrap or aluminum foil to be found, or even a wine glass or oven mitts. So many things did not work - many of the overhead lights, lower oven, fridge ice and water. The listing says there are 3 bathrooms, but we only had access to 2. And there is a bare minimum of storage available. The place sleeps 8 but both entry closets as well as the bedroom closets are locked and there are only 4 hooks at the entrance to hang ski gear, jackets, etc. We ended up having to hang our things off the dining room chairs, which was fine since the lights in that room didn't work and we couldn't eat in there anyway. I could go on but to sum up, this was a disappointing, overpriced mess and while we look forward to returning to the area, never back to this place"
