"We needed a New Year's escape to rest and reset after a busy year and this log cabin was exactly what we needed. We had a great stay from start to finish, enjoyed the beautiful garden surroundings, had a great pub lunch & enjoyed breakfast after checking out at the local bakery. Great hosts, great location, great cabin."

Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. "This property is exceptional, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, safe room, water provided every day, lovely staff, great food, we had beautiful breakfasts every morning of our 4 nights stay & dined in the restaurant 1 night, we had a room with a lovely view of the Severn, my only gripe is that the rooms are very warm, a fan was provided which helped a bit.
