Experience Berlin near the forest and lake

"Wer Entspannung und sehr sehr viel Freundlichkeit im Quartier sucht, ist bei Fam. B.in Berlin absolut richtig. Mitten im Wald waren wir , 2 Erwachsene 1 Teenager in einer grosszügig geschnitten FeWo eine Woche zu Gast. Mit viel Liebe und Zuwendung bereitete uns Fam B. zwei mal ein Frühstück zu, dass seinesgleichen sucht. Die Anbindung an die Öffis in Berlin ist hervorragend: Mit einer kurzen Busfahrt und einem ebenso wirklich kurzen Fussweg ist man am S Bhf Rahnsdorf und dann in knapp 30 min am Alex u später Zoo - was will man mehr? Die Wohnung hat alles, was man so braucht - ausser einer Spülmaschine - und das Vermieterehepaar ist wirklich sehr sehr nett und hat auch immer noch eine freundliche kleine Überraschung für Ihre Gäste parat. Wir erlebten echte Freundlichkeit und eine hervorragende Kommunikation im Vorfeld :-) Auch Sonbderwünsche sind kein Problem: wir waren am Anfang eine Person mehr.... Wir kommen gerne mal wieder !! "Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich, äußerst sauber und von wunderschöner Natur sowie einem liebevoll gestalteten Landschaftsdesign umgeben. Wir haben die Zeit dort als sehr ruhig und entspannend empfunden und konnten die gemeinsame Auszeit wirklich genießen.Zusätzlich wurden uns sogar Kajaks, Fahrräder und ein Grill angeboten, falls wir diese nutzen möchten. Für uns stand jedoch einfach die Erholung in der Natur zu zweit im Vordergrund – und dafür war dieser Ort perfekt. Man schläft dort übrigens hervorragend.In der Nähe gibt es mehrere Restaurants, die man bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Außerdem besteht die Möglichkeit, mit dem Bus nach Rheinsberg oder in andere Orte zu fahren.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch den sehr freundlichen Gastgeber. Er hat uns alles sofort erklärt und gezeigt und war während unseres Aufenthalts äußerst aufmerksam und hilfsbereit."

"It's a hostel, so amenities are minimal, but if you are so prepared, it's superb. It is bright and very clean everywhere. The art and photography on the walls is impressive. The social areas are spacious and clean, and when I was there, except for dinner time, I had them to myself. The breakfast buffet is minimal, but I recommend it, since it is only 9 Euros, and there is no place around here to go for a quick coffee or omelet. The office loaned me a towel, the one necessity I did not have with me, on my long journey. There are many, many rooms here, but except at breakfast, I saw and interacted with very few people. I came here to work, so that was great for me. You have to bring your own food for dinner. Or, I took an Uber to a restaurant about three miles from here, and saved half of the meal for the next day dinner."

"Lovely quiet area with public transport very close by, self check in a bit confusing especially if you arrive later at night when you have traveled all day long but if you take your time it's ok. The rooms are nice and clean but looking a bit tired now and would be nice to have a kettle in the room so you can make a hot drink, there is a large flask in the foyer/lobby but it gets cooler later on, also there's some teas and fruit there when the dinning room is closed. Breakfast is provided at a extra cost €12.50 pp we didn't have any because we went out exploring and had food later in the day but it looked very nice. Would I stay again yes I would overall a very nice stay. "
