The Step House hotel was one of our favorite stays on our Ireland trip! We had a beautiful and spacious room that opened onto a terrace overlooking the gardens and mountains in the distance. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast in the 1808 Pub. The staff was wonderful and the extra touches like flowers and prosecco in the room made this the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and start off our trip! We had a wonderful stay -staff was absolutely amazing, breakfast was a true highlight, and room fit our needs perfectly! Our daughter had a medical need during our stay and the staff went WAY above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed - I can’t say enough about how accommodating and helpful they were!! We truly hope to return some day and would highly recommend!!

absolutely loved our stay here, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the setting lovely, rooms comfortable, breakfast delicious and plentiful! only thing I would have like to see was improvement on eco friendly front, replacing the tiny toiletries with bigger bottles that are refilled in the showers and the same with all of the little plastic water bottles.

We were in London and Ireland for 10 nights and stayed at a total of 5 locations and this was by far our favorite! It is a beautiful hotel, the beds are extremely comfortable, the staff were so kind, the food was excellent, and the location was very accessible to pubs and the Kilkenny castle. We wished we could stay longer.

Free parking. Amazing location in town. Friendly staff. The room was large. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really good. Breakfast was included and excellent. Only bad thing was the view out our window.

This was a great place! The car park was around the back of the building with plenty of spaces. The room was clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the bar restaurant and the food was delicious. Our waiter, John, gave us excellent advice on things to see and do in the area and Trish, one of the managers, went above and beyond with hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again.

We loved everything about Seven Oaks - parking was plentiful, room was very clean and large, restaurant was convenient and delicious - but the standout feature was the helpfulness of the staff. Aisling and Declan welcomed us in and made us immediately comfortable. Hospitality is taken seriously and we were very appreciative.

This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Kilkenny - easy walking to attractions, shopping and dining. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Easy parking across the street. Good breakfast buffet.

We were caught up in the British Air problems when our flight was cancelled requiring us to rebook. We were able to get on a flight one hour earlier than our previous flight, which meant we had to leave in a hurry. The woman at the front desk was wonderful about getting us breakfast to go and directions to Dublin airport. We made our flight, all thanks to her!

Our family of four stayed one night at Newpark Hotel. I most appreciated the hotel check-in staff. I could tell something was wrong with our reservation as he asked twice for our name and then if our reservation could be under a different name. Then he took our confirmation page and excused himself for a couple minutes in the back room. He then came out, apologized for the delay, and gave us our room information as well as gift bags for the children. He never once made it seem like it was...

This is probably the best B&B we have stayed in. The hosts are fantastic. Breakfast was top notch homemade! Loved the French emphasis.
