"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Ellerbrook House. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The room was clean, comfortable and had lovely extra touches with free toiletries and tea/coffee. The breakfasts were lovely and there was a lot of choice. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place for a stay in Windermere. Town was a 5 min walk away with a good range of restaurants too. Pleasure to meet you Rob and Becky. "I picked this property after an extensive search and reading tons of reviews. As I prefer a house type accommodation, this fit my needs. A plus for me was facilities to brew coffee in the room, and a communal fridge to store my heavy cream. Milk is provided for guests in that fridge too. "I might have misread the blurb, was expecting a kitchenette and a full size fridge so was surprised to find just a kettle and mini fridge. My room was one of the tiny ones which was expected, room was clean as was shower & toilet. Bed was a single but comfy, slept like a baby although the 14 miles walked helped! Nice pub next door with quiz on Thursdays! Overall good value, and help only a phone call away. Good location on a quiet road midway between Windermere and Bowness"
