The manager called the day we were meant to check in to ask us to check in late which we did because they were on holiday or there was a staff shortage or someone was sick - I couldn't keep up with what the problem was. When we arrived there was dirty underwear, dirty bedding, full garbage bins, a huge leak in the living room, 0 toilet paper, no shampoo, soap or coffee. "The upstairs apartment worked out really well with kitchen, bath, living/dining room and bedroom. It was in walking distance to the train station, town, and to the beach. We enjoyed riding bikes in the National Dunes Park nearby. For July it was a bit cool for swimming, but great for hiking and bike riding and exploring the town. Haarlem and Amsterdam are within a 15-30 minute train ride. Our host met us to let us in and give us the keys and the apt was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Thanks so...

"We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the special welcoming snacks and wine! Great communication with the owner. It was a convenient location and easy to walk or catch an Uber to main attractions. If we are ever back in Amsterdam we would definitely return to this lovely apartment!"

There’s a broken lamp still in use. Also, the address, once revealed, was incorrect and the right one is hidden within a large paragraph of check in instructions."
