"This place is basically a bed in a room with not enough floor space for 2 small individuals to enter at the same time. You literally open the door, it hits the bed,then you close it step into the bathroom so the next person can enter. My niece and l are both tiny people 5’3”. How this passes as a hotel room I don’t know. There is no room to put your luggage, one of us had to go out into the hall to pack when we were trying to pack up to catch our flight. There are no windows anywhere. There really isnt anyone at reception ( its self check in on a computer). If you have an issue you can bother the one person cooking meals out front most of whom were not friendly in the least. The neighborhood is a construction zone, you can tell where you are staying because it's between the 2 massive cranes visible from far off. From the looks of it all the rooms are like this. If I can add my tour of the room video I will- its awful."

"They advertised there was a shuttle from the hotel to Amsterdam Central - but when I asked the hotel staff said they didn’t know anything about it. There was a very foul odor coming from the drain in our shower in our room."

"Pro's: Clean, Quiet, Helpful Staff, Close to train station meaning easy access to/from Schipol airport and to/from Amsterdam Central. Easy self check out. Con's: Poor TV selection and connection, when you're finished and want to decompress, you'll be pressed for luck. No streaming services so take a firestick. TV only had Chromecast."

"My wife and I stayed at Amsterdam ID Aparthotel for 4 nights in May 2026 and honestly couldn’t have picked a better place. The first thing that stood out was the staff. We travel quite a bit and can genuinely say these were some of the friendliest hotel staff we’ve ever come across. Everyone was welcoming, chatty, helpful and just naturally pleasant without it ever feeling forced. It made such a difference and gave the hotel a really relaxed atmosphere from the moment we checked in. We booked an Executive Studio and were surprised by how big it was. It felt much more like a proper apartment than a hotel room. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and having a separate bedroom made it feel even more spacious. After long days walking around Amsterdam, coming back there in the evening felt perfect. The room had everything we could need, a kitchen, dining area, lounge with a TV, modern bathroom and loads of space to relax. It was ideal having the kitchen for breakfasts and drinks instead of needing to eat out constantly. Everything was very clean and modern without feeling cold or clinical like some aparthotels can. The location worked really well too. Being close to the station meant getting into central Amsterdam was quick and easy, but being able to escape the crowds and noise at the end of the day was actually a huge bonus. What made the stay so good overall was just how comfortable and easy everything felt. There was genuinely nothing to complain about."
