We are building this concept into our new home construction The separate water closet meant more of us were served at one time - fantastic Hotel Forza is highly regarded by the neighbors in this upstanding and 100% walkable area of Kyoto A mighty hotel, excellent staff, terrific breakfasts, amid all kinds of wonderful coffee shops, restaurants, temples right down the street, the most interesting small side streets 50 feet from Hotel Forza, what is not to like And safe, like I remember Japan from my last visit in 1985. My son is going to University here in two years, for a year abroad. What a fantastic introduction We forgot my phone at the auto ticketing area at the Kyoto train station, went back 20 minutes later, asked, and were directed to an area that had it."

"The room was equipped with all little necessities the traveller might need- hairbrush, toothbrush toothpaste slippers and more. The hotel is centrally located in the mid of the liveliest Kyoto area on top of Takase canal lined with beautiful Sakura trees. The Blue bottle cafe downstairs has the best coffee and the Master’s Dream house restaurant has the best beer. Walking distance to Maruyama park and Kyoto Takashimaya shopping mall. Amazing stay!"

"OK, the room is small, so family of 3, very challenging navigate around the room, but most hotel rooms are small in Japan, so not complain about it, but wish a bit bigger room would be nice. Other than, everything was very nice, exceptional location, and hotel staff very nice and attentive, located in quite street, and tons of restaurants close by (but be warn that they are a bit pricy and some even overpriced), and having breakfast in hotel is a big plus, good variety of breakfast options, of course, you are ok to eat fish appetizers in the morning, you are in luck. I can easily recommend this hotel!"

"Hotel is in a great central location! Close by to Pontocho, Gion and train station. The canal next to the hotel was so beautiful with cherry blossoms and willow trees. Comfy beds and cozy rooms. The breakfast buffet was good also. Note that the hotel's restaurant closes by 3 pm. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"This is a very special hotel. It’s walking distance to Heian shrine. Lots of good hiking spots near by. The food selection is a little sparse, but there are some good spots near by. The room was very large and we got a view of a cherry tree from our room. Joshua from the staff was very nice and set us up for a great trip."

"A very good hotel, ideally located in central Kyoto, just steps from the river, Nishiki Market, and a covered shopping street. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed and pillows are firm, but I personally slept very well. My only critic is the laundry room, which is much too small for the size of the hotel. I had difficulty accessing a dryer before hours and had to hang my clothes in the room without having access to a drying racks."
