"The room was very clean and staff was very nice. Air conditioning was super crisp and cold for a hot day. Very convenient location, close to the SIU campus. I was super excited to find this jewel so close to campus. Note: there are no elevators, anyone using a wheelchair or cane should book handicap rooms on the lower floor for ease of access."

"Not handicap friendly. Door entrance not wheelchair friendly. Need to have door stoppers to keep door open when bringing in wheelchair. Management has policy about taking extra plate to room, want you to eat in dining area. My husband is in a wheelchair and can’t walk so I felt offended with their policy. Staff did apologize but after the fact. Overall hotel was nice."

"It’s a solid budget hotel. It’s not run down but it’s also not a resort either. Everything in the room worked as expected and the staff was quick to address the tv remote issue. A good solid place to sleep. Didn’t check out the breakfast, not a breakfast person."
