A stylish cottage, in the heart of the delightful village of Grosmont

"The cottage was in a prime location on Grosmont Station and seeing the steam/diesel engines going past your window was something spectacular.Upon arrival the Host wasn't aware of our arrival, this was down to Vrbo not informing the Host of our booking so when we arrived the cottage wasn't ready/clean for our stay, but once I got in touch with the Host this was rectified and was very apologetic, i'm sure if the host knew they where expecting guests the cottage would have been spotless, but it was a quick clean otherwise I would have given more stars.It's worth messaging the Host to make sure they have received your booking to avoid disappointmentI will definately be returning as it's a very special place."

Beautiful Location for Cycling, Walking and Relaxing!

"We spent 8 nights here in early April. The property is beautifully set out with everything you could need - including some very warm underfloor heating.The location is perfect for cycling and walking right from the doorstep, with Apps like Komoot perfect for plotting spectacular circular days out. The barn is wonderfully quiet, with lovely views across the valley.Mark and Moya were the perfect hosts and always there if you needed any help or advice. Communication was excellent.Already planning a return in 2026!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Goathland. The property was immaculate and the kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed being in the middle of the countryside & enjoyed amazing views. Michelle & Rupert could not have been more helpful with any questions we had. Would highly recommend."

Winter weekend away

"Second visit to this lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and clearly passionate about making your stay memorable. Room was spacious and cosy, Food was amazing and exciting, always great seeing a full restaurant. Good selection of beers and I think I counted 42 bottles of gin tantalise the taste buds. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxed. Having my dog with me, the hotel is very dog friendly and a lovely welcome pack with them in the bedroom and breakfast bowls by the tables. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, and enjoyed my repeat visit, and will be revisiting next summer."
