"Property was fine but service was lacking. No effort to service the room daily as only the towels were refreshed and garbage removed. No beds were made, no coffee replaced (used cups left by the coffee maker & coffee pods not replaced). A problem with widow blinds was reported but no action taken after 2 days waiting."

"The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean and spacious, which came with both a fridge and microwave. Conveniently located in downtown Hamilton just off the highway. Would stay again!"

"Parking is easy and plentiful. The complementary breakfast was sufficient. The staff was helpful. I simply believe the property can use some love/investment...The toilets are old and running. One of our two full-sized beds were made with blood stained sheets (I wish I had taken a picture before having the items replaced). The space feels dated and dark. The rooms are hallow in feel (dim, cold and non-insulated against external noise/sounds). An on-site gym is advertised, yet not in operation. Oddly enough, the organization takes the liberty to advertise a gym because a third party gym happens to be accessible somewhere in the area... truly misleading. I am scheduled to be back in Brantford in approximately two weeks, however, I will not be looking to the Days Inn for my accommodations. "

"Do not stay at this hotel until the renovations are done - we had no shower. No towels asked 3 times. No tv remote, door was not very secure. No one at the front desk. Once you left hotel you couldn’t get back in without clerk there who didn’t answer the number to call. I couldn’t even checkout as no one was around. Also from security perspective the area is not the greatest and the lights in the parking lot were not working. the hotel was clean. The staff were friendly but for $200 a night this hotel this was hotel something I would never pay more than $80 for a room like this ever. I would take this off the offering at hotel.com until they finish renovations. This is a 1-star hotel at best "

"The property is older and in need of an update. The breakfast was sub-par compared to other hotels at similar price points. The pool area was older an d the hot tub was broken. Overall, it feels like the brand of Best Western has gone into such a deep cost saving (penny pinching) mode that the overall experience has really suffered. Better to spend an extra $20 per day at a Hilton or Hampton Inn for an overall better and more enjoyable stay. "
