Find Adventure Hotels in Nairobi

We scheduled to have a car pick us up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. My wife and I were picked up by a very friendly employee (Antony) who introduced us to his city and taught us about the area during the drive. There was quite a bit of traffic at the time we landed, so the drive to the hotel took almost an hour. Peaceful atmosphere once you get inside. Staff is very courteous and go the extra step to please their guests. Shower water was hot and great pressure. Rooms were clean. Did not hear any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms, or outside. TV and remote worked well. Website photos are accurate Food was hot and tasty. Not overly spiced or salty. Fruit was sweet. Bed was clean and comfortable. Wished I could stay longer

Norfolk Fairmont is easily the classiest and most beautiful hotel we have stayed in. Everything including staff and service are unparalleled. Plus it's Nairobi's oldest hotel, where US President Roosevelt, British royalty, Ernest Hemingway and a score of other historical figures have stayed - and loved.

The property is beautiful and more than what I expected. Pics are exactly what you get. Beautiful person is there to help you as the need may arise but no problems experienced.

The rooms are very spacious. I was only supplied with one towel. The next door building is under construction, so quite noisy during the day . The entrance is gated and manned 24/7

Very clean modern and walking distance to Wilson airport. Very comfortable safe area.

This is a nice hotel with good dining on the premises. We liked the larger rooms.

I am an experienced traveler and know what I want and can expect in a hotel. I loved the Heron Portico so much I stayed there three separate times during my last visit to Kenya! The room was clean, well-maintained and had everything I needed, from Wifi to endless hot water. The restaurant and bar food and drink were very good. And the professionalism and attitude of the entire staff were uniformly excellent; they went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay, and I did.

I stated only for one night. I enjoy the stay, staff were extremely humble. Fast check in, clean, bit old bed sheet cover, good breakfast, choice of fresh juices etc. would like to stay back.

I almost tempted to say it was terrible so people will not discover this beautiful gem but everything was perfect and the host amazing.
