"This is a wonderful cabin for families. The game room downstairs is wonderful for night time. Close to trails and marina. Jim was an excellent host who was always available and exceeded my expectations."

"We really enjoyed the place and the lake was great. I made a few minor suggestions for improvement to the owner. One thing that I think people need to understand before renting is that getting to the dock is not easy. There are steps only part of the way. If you have any mobility issues this is not the place. That said, we did not see any places on the lake that would be much easier. They all have a lot of steps because of how the lake sits, well below where houses are built. So mobility issues might be an issue anywhere on this lake."

"We absolutely loved this property and its hosts. We have stayed many places over the years and this has surpassed the others by a long shot. The hosts were very active with communication, the property was amazing and the location was even more amazing. In the past we have ran in to issues where we didn’t have things we may have needed throughout the house (pans, dish soap, etc), absolutely not the case here. They have everything you need! We recommend this place 1000 times over and can’t wait to come back!"

"Nice getaway in the woods on the lake. Very convenient to Nantahala Weddings Venue. A steep walk up but an easy drive. Also convenient to a boat dock just down the drive way. Bring your own boat, kayak, or paddleboard."

Mountainview House - Luxurious Privacy Above the Clouds

"It's a bit of a climb up the mountain (4-wheel/all-wheel drive recommended), but the view is well worth it. The house is very well appointed and communication with the host was great. Relaxing and peaceful are understatements. Pam has a number of bird feeders on the property, which invite guests to just hang out and watch nature at its best. A morning read with coffee on the deck is a must, and sunsets and star-gazing are incredible. Bring your favorite CDs or listen to any of variety there, that will likely satisfy any taste.The house and property are very clean and well-kept and there is plenty to read if you're into a cozy corner and a good book. There is a separate room with a TV, if you just want to while away with some screen time, too, but I like that it doesn't encumber the main living area, which is both open yet cozy.Since it was June, we didn't strike up the fireplace, but I imagine it to be another great element to an autumn or winter atmosphere. But even in mid-June, there was plenty of blanket time with cool evening breezes and crisp mornings. Definitely a memorable trip."

Wow! Lake Nantahala Smoky Mountain Cabin with Boat Dock, Hot Tub & Firepit!

"Stunning views from both decks, especially from the hot tub on the top deck! The house was very well stocked with all the kitchen essentials, beds were very comfortable and the living room furniture was very inviting to relax and watch a movie! The lake is absolutely gorgeous and we all had a blast jumping off the dock and floating around in the water! Kayaking was also very fun! We rented a boat and explored the lake. Didn’t catch any fish, but the lake and the views were spectacular! We were able to find rainbow trout in the Nantahala Forest. We also enjoyed s'mores by the fire! The marina also was very helpful to get a few snacks and everything we had at the Lakes End restaurant was very good! Very glad that we chose this home for our vacation!! We personally preferred going to the Ingles grocery store in Robinsville (turn right out of the cabin) as the road wasn’t as winding as the 17mile way we came in (left out of the cabin)."
