Ryokans in Nara Prefecture

"Be very careful with your room choice! We stayed 2 nights here, the first night was in the main building and none of this applies because it was dreadful. We moved on the second night and the difference was night and day!"

"A very friendly staff and wonderful dining experience in the Hotel's dining room."

"The breakfast was amazing."

"Very convenient location, close to the main attractions."

"Lovely property with fantastic staff and excellent breakfast!"

"Very clean, professional staff,"

"Lovely building with helpful, friendly staff; rooms were clean and amenities were great. Location excellent as it was close to shopping and local attractions."

"The hotel was conveniently in the middle of the main area of Osaka."

"Great Ryokan!"

"Excellent onsen and food"

"Very comfortable place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast was also delicious "

"We loved staying here. Rooms were very traditionally Japanese with a beautiful aesthetic feel. Meals were excellent and the staff were incredibly nice. Would definitely stay here again!"

"For a truly historic and immersive stay this Temple is perfect. Near all the most significant sites in Koyasan."

"Great kaseiki dinner. Our best meal in Japan. This ryokan oozes charm and the staff is wonderful"

"Right across from the Kyoto main train station. And a real ryokan! The staff were so polite and respectful and helpful. Of course for westerners was a bit uncomfortable sleeping on the floor on futons but something you have to try for Japan! This hotel has an old world charm and the attentions at breakfast made us feel very welcome and special"

"The staff were friendly and the location was convenient. The hotel however was very dated and the rooms were basic. Onsen was clean and there was free tea and coffee. If you want a quick easy stop then it’s not too bad but like I said. Basic"

"Perfect place to enjoy Japanese Onsen and Foods Great staffs!!!"

"Unforgettable. Just try it."

"Absolutely loved staying here!! Perfect blend of comfort and traditional, would definitely stay again!!"

"Kind and attentive staff, relaxing baths, delicious vegetarian food and an enlightening meditation session"
