My dad, brother, and I stayed for a weekend boys trip and had a great time! Caught some fish in the pond, watched a movie in the living room, hiked at Brown County, and enjoyed downtown Nashville. This rental is in a great location and couldn’t be better for a boys trip. Nothing crazy fancy, but for the price it gets the job done perfectly.

Pictures are deceiving
Pictures and description are deceiving. The place is literally in spitting range of owners house. No privacy at all. And it cost a lot of money to stay there. Plus it says pet friendly but doesnt tell you they will charge you later for your pet.
We had a great time in Brown County. The Cowboy Way cabin was a nice pla e to stay and meet our needs. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus. Outside area with hotub was nice.
We had a lovely stay! Our hosts were super people. Very friendly and fun!! The setting is gorgeous.
It would have been nice after a long drive to not have to drive 12 miles out of our way to pick up the keys.

Cute but zmall
Super cute place but the pictures made it look a lot bigger than it is. The owners are literally RIGHT next door. We still had a great time and would stay here again.

Nice but a bit too cozy
Location was ok, located between Bloomington and Nashville. It was right next to the owners house, so it wasn’t private, but they didn’t bother us. Parking wasn’t the greatest. Had lots on visitors (ladybugs), not sure how they were getting in the house. Over we had a nice stay, but wouldn’t want to stay here longer than a couple days as it was smaller than expected.
Very clean and cozy, the hot tub was perfect.
The cabin is rather close to someone’s house and we could hear their kiddos playing in the snow. We didn’t mind at all, we have small kids ourself so it reminded us of home.
We will most likely return!
Clean, cozy, great outdoor space, great location.
Would recommend!

Just too dirty
Whole place needs dusting and a scrub down. Dust in blinds, lamp shades and doors and baseboards were gross. Whoever hung decor should have brought a ladder because oddly nothing is above eye level, even the curtains.
Luckily the shower and refrigerator were clean. Generally disappointing, broken experience, best part was being outside. Whole house tilts as well.
The Cowboy Cabin was the perfect little spot for a girls weekend. Although cozy the outside provided all the extra we needed. There were a number of bugs in the house and it could use a deeper clean but all in all a great value and a great experience!
My dear friend & I traveled to Nashville, IN for a girl’s trip of antiquing, shopping and fun. Cowboy Way was the perfect size for us. We appreciated the DVD player, as there ended up being a rainy day. We rented a couple of movies from Red Box, and stayed in.
One small issue for us is that the beds are upstairs, and the one bathroom is downstairs. This isn’t mentioned in the description, as is a mild inconvenience. Also, the cabin itself is extremely close to a permanent residence. Once again, minor. But...this isn’t a “cabin in the woods” by itself if that is what you’re looking for.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and would recommend the Cowboy Cottage. We also loved eating at Big Woods Hard Truth Hills!
