Good option in Natal
"We stayed there twice. Fist time 4 nights- 1st floor area D. I Didn’t like that area. Close to the kitchen so it was a little warm and smelly. Not in the room though. Good food. Good service. Second time, 1st floor area B. Soo much better. It’s a beautiful hotel."

"I have stayed in this hotel several times before but this time I found the hotel is not the same. I think the up keep has declined. my bathroom had some mold in the shower; the sink was not draining freely; the closet door would not stay closed. The worse of all was the WIFI (terrible)"

"First what I liked. The room was spacious (in fact two bedrooms) with a balcony overlooking the ocean that wraps around the unit. Beds were comfortable, the shower was nice too, and free parking was available. Second what I did not like. No toiletries, no blankets, just thin sheets, towels were not ..."

Taking out the hotel experience, everything else was very nice.

Natal is even grittier and older and insecure than I expected. It is a jumping off point for amazing beaches and towns to the north and south, however.

My mom was sick, couldn't make the trip..and even with a Medical Certificate the Hotel refused to give us our money back. ..

Natal was fine. Manary Praia Hotel is excellent but the lodging is overpriced. Great to see the work that UFRN is doing to raise knowledge and socio-economic conditions for the people in Natal

It is not as dangerous as I thought. There are a lot of police and security guards. I did not travel into the city though.
