"Great hotel if you want to see the Medina. The location is very walkable. Taxis do not like it as it’s in the center of the city. WiFi is good and breakfast is complete. Very clean and beautiful design"

"J’ai passé une très belle nuit à Dar El Jeld, dans une magnifique suite au charme traditionnel et à l’élégance raffinée. J’ai beaucoup aimé l’ambiance, à la fois authentique, chic et chaleureuse. La suite était très confortable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Une belle parenthèse hors du temps, avec un accueil très agréable. Je recommande vraiment cette adresse et j’y retournerai avec plaisir. Amira ❤️"

"The location is ideal if you want to be right in the Medina market area and close by all of the sites and attractions. The building and the rooms are gorgeous and you do feel like you've gone back in time but the rooms are modern to today. The staff were very friendly and helpful to make recommendations for nearby restaurants and shops. The breakfast was served for you personally each morning, a big thank you Muhammad Ali (not the boxer) and Asma for the kind and delicious start to each day. I took one of the "tours" that the hotel offers, it was more so a driver to get you to the destination than a tour in every sense of the word but still very helpful and a great experience. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend the Palais for anyone that wants an authentic and historic stay in Tunis."

"It’s a very nice historical place, beautifully decorated. Clean and quiet . The bed was very comfortable. Staff were nice as well. Breakfast was rather simple. We booked two beds and got only one. The room was too small to put in another bed. There was other bigger rooms, but we were not assigned for, despite that we made reservation a few months in advance. This was a bit disappointing. "
