One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. "The Old Weigh House is a highly specified and beautiful property with offroad parking. It is located in the charming old town area of Kirkby Lonsdale, within easy walking of the river and the town's independent shops, pubs with local brews, and excellent restaurants. Farther afield, KL is an ideal spot from which to explore the Dales of Cumria, Lancashire and Yorkshire. We would definitely visit The Old Weigh House again."
