"I have spent 20 years visiting the New Forrest for holidays and I wish I had found this place before, it is a gem. The owner Chris was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. "Had a wonderful holiday here, beautiful cottage, garden very secure for my dog which I’m grateful for. Nice and quiet and loved the horses looking over the gate! So sweet! Loved all the bathrooms, never an argument about whose turns next! lol. Well stocked kitchen, all the cutlery and plates and bowls you’d need. Ample room on driveway, could fit 4 cars on if needed we took 3 between us, large family! We had a wonderful holiday."

"Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. Walking...
