"This was a very nice space. The bed was nice and comfortable and the shower had awesome water pressure. The room was however, very warm so we had to open the window the tiny amount that it opens. Unfortunately, the street below is very busy and loud. This noise made it difficult for me to get any rest. "

Our booking got cancelled as the cottage had ‘last minute maintenance’. The booking was for the 2-7th July 2025 and despite a huge amount of emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages - it’s now the 12th July and we have still not received a refund.

"good location, excellent easy parking in the free car park literally 50 yards away. close to town and nearby coffee shop and fish n chip shop. - all in all a good location for exploring the Peak District - everything is kind of 10 miles or 20 minutes way in nice country roads.
