"Enjoyed our stay and great location for exploring village. Owner/operators were pleasant and attentive to small concerns. Sleeping conditions could be improved by addition of something closer to blackout curtains on the large window - much light from street in the room through the night."

"Great cottage that didn’t get too hot during the summer heat wave as it was the ground floor of a multi story property. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Shower was especially nice. The driveway was a lot steeper and hard to turn into the parking space than we expected. We could have used the car park next to the property but then we would have had to pay during the day. I believe overnight parking was free. There were some parking spaces at the bottom of the driveway, but they were in use during our stay. Lots of shops and cafes nearby and the train station was about a 5 minute walk from the property. Garden area was lovely and a very quiet and private place to cool off in the evening after walking near the river. I enjoyed the location of the property as there were many day trips and places to see within a short driving distance. Manchester airport was about a 35 minute drive. I would stay here again."

"Lovely holiday cottage. Perfect for just myself, my husband and our dog. Fully equipped kitchen, immaculately clean. Lovely calming decor. Beautiful walks along the canal which is on the doorstep! "A welcome few days away… didn’t disappoint ! Great views and tucked away into country but within 10 minutes of the Oddfellows and The Devonshire, good food reasonably priced. On arrival the owners welcomed us and Kinder was not disappointing. Well thought, modern, clean and very comfortably furnished with everything needed…from a dishwasher to rainfall shower…freshly laundered bedding, towels and clean clean clean ! This was without doubt a “home from home†to return to at the end of a busy day, thank you."
