"Middlehaven exceeded every expectation and provided the perfect setting for our family during our daughter’s wedding weekend at River Crest Farms. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the home’s exceptional cleanliness, thoughtful design, and attention to detail. Every space was beautifully maintained and equally welcoming for adults and children.The location could not have been better—just minutes from River Crest Farms, making wedding-day logistics simple and stress-free. The home became a gathering place, allowing us to spend meaningful time together before and after the celebration. One of our favorite memories was sharing breakfast the morning after the wedding with both families, reliving special moments and enjoying each other’s company in such a comfortable setting.Middlehaven offers something for everyone. We spent evenings around the fire pit, sitting in the hot tub, playing basketball court, and gathered in the family room filled with games and activities. Our entire family, from our adult children to our grandchildren, found ways to relax, have fun, and create lasting memories together.The peaceful atmosphere is what truly makes this property special. It feels private and serene while still being conveniently located near local attractions. Zoar Golf Club is only five minutes away, adding another great recreational option for guests.The combination of comfort, convenience, and outstanding amenities makes Middlehaven an exceptional place to stay!"

Historic Cabin On 300 Acre Farm In Amish Country

"The cabin was fabulous, even more so being someone that loves history. It was rustic but with all the modern amenities blended beautifully together. The location is perfect for getting away from the "day-to-day". Sitting on the porches and listening to nothing but nature was quite relaxing. The property has plenty of areas to walk and a pond for swimming, boating, and fishing (catch and release). There are lots of things to do within a 20-30min drive (wineries, shopping, history, and more). Doug and Jennifer couldn't have been any better hosts. They made sure everything was well when we arrived and non-intrusively checked on us a couple times during our stay. We look forward to staying here again!"
