"The cabin was fabulous, even more so being someone that loves history. It was rustic but with all the modern amenities blended beautifully together. The location is perfect for getting away from the "day-to-day". Sitting on the porches and listening to nothing but nature was quite relaxing. The property has plenty of areas to walk and a pond for swimming, boating, and fishing (catch and release). There are lots of things to do within a 20-30min drive (wineries, shopping, history, and more). Doug and Jennifer couldn't have been any better hosts. They made sure everything was well when we arrived and non-intrusively checked on us a couple times during our stay. We look forward to staying here again!"

"This 3 BR home sleeps everyone privately and comfortably. Be aware that 1 BR is 1st floor level after a few steps up to the front porch. 1BR is upstairs with another down 4 steps to the back of the house. Kitchen is large, spacious and well appointed however there is not a dining table (small foldable table in the closet). Plenty of great activities such as fishing or just stomping in the stream out front and down the embankment (steep). The coffee provided was a welcome treat since I forgot mine-thank you! Darts and ping pong were a big hit with my 13 yo grandsons. An amenity we find to be a must when enjoying the outdoors is the WASHER and dryer. Cayuga National Park is a short distance away, a great place to visit. Miller's, Steiners bakeries are a must visit as well as a quick drive up I77 to the Greek International Store in Akron. Tons of thrift stores nearby with great cheese houses too. We enjoyed the front porch with the trees shading the area and the sound of rippling water. The back patio area with a nice hot tub was serene and calming as well as very private even with a close friendly neighbor. We will definitely return to this property and recommend it!"
