"my husband and I stayed here for a couple days exploring the area. This hotel offers great value for a clean and comfortable stay. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, shower pressure was good, pool and whirlpool were clean. The breakfast was very basic, but adequate to start the day. All the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again."

"Nothing at all to find fault with. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, good breakfast. Comfortable chairs on the balcony to relax on and take in the peacefulness of the location. Early evening the hotel offers free popcorn and cookies. Staff are so friendly and helpful. My wife can't stop talking about how great it was and we must go back for longer next time."

"The room was dirty. Microwave had food splatters inside, and the outside was also dirty. Their was a broken table in the middle of the room with no chairs. Plumbing pieces laying on the floor under the sink, a choking hazard for little kids. Stains on the couch and desk chair. The TV was really dirty, with a sad attempt to clean it. The bed was as hard as a rock. Bugs in the stairway. We didn't even touch the breakfast, or pool. The restaurant attached to the hotel wasn't even open, looks like it was closed downWe also left a day earlier then we were supposed to because of our experience with the room. When I went to check out early and tell them about the room I was told since I booked online their was nothing they could do about the early check out. We won't be back here."

"It’s honestly hard to put into words just how incredible our stay here was. Rose and Brian truly cover all the bases, especially when it comes to traveling with children. All the extra special little touches and convenient amenities make it the least stressful and most magical experience for parents and children. Our kiddos range in age from 2 to 14 and it’s extremely difficult to find activities where everyone’s happy, It was amazing not hearing the words “I’m bored“ once all weekend! I even got to sit down and relax multiple times, a true luxury as a mom of littles. Between the pool house, game room, hiking trails, and yard, you can have a fun-filled trip without ever leaving the property! Most importantly of all, our family spent a lot of time together, enjoying each other‘s presence and making new memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. I am forever grateful that Mount Pleasant Lodge will hold a special place in mine and my children’s hearts 🥹❤️🥰"
