We had a lovely stay at Firecastle. Kildare is a magical area with lots to do and see in walking distance. The room we stayed in was beautiful and well appointed, breakfast was delicious and the staff were all really nice. I highly recommend Firecastle.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff was great, the rooms clean, and breakfast was awesome. The parking garage is tight, so be careful. If you driving a bigger car, you might want to park on the street.

Though the rooms have definitely not been renovated in quite some time, the property was clean and well maintained with fun decor throughout. Though I would have appreciated a small outdoor seating area or garden, the restaurant attached to the hotel made up for that and then some. The staff at the hotel and Gallops restaurant were fantastic and the food there was incredible. Best dinner I’ve had in a while!

Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. Had a quick over night stay before leaving Ireland. Only 45 min from the airport. Staff were all welcoming and helpful!

It was a classic Irish hotel with wonderful restaurant and bar food and service. And very close and convenient to get back to fly home from Dublin.

The Heritage is by all rights a 5 star, not a 4 star hotel. The rooms, property, and staff are all top notch! The only issues I encountered are beyond the control of the Heritage -- There are not enough taxis (I travelled to/from The Heritage by train) and if you are planning to use one, for instance, to make rail connections, plan well ahead and reserve a taxi if possible. The other thing that would be nice is if there were more dining options nearby -- But again, this is beyond the control...

The hotel is a true old world charm property set in a very peaceful and serene environment. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. The bed especially is very comfortable. The food and service is also excellent even though it is very full at weekends as it is a popular wedding and event property. There is a true commitment to quality and sincere warmth in both staff and housekeeping.

Loved the place from the room to the food very nice. Also I played 3 rounds at the golf course and would absolutely love to play again and will recommend to my friends.

We had a two day wonderful visit! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The food was outstanding! The drinks were excellent! The service and room conditions…... Everything was impeccable! Had a wonderful visit to the spa. It was great! This is a must visit on your travel list!

Great hotel for basic accommodations. It is a pedestrian only walking area so the taxis cannot get to the front entrance. But the tram is right there and the staff is great such as Theresa at Osten Bar and Faye at the front desk and Phil providing that extra excellent service.

Excellent, quiet location. Restaurant/Pub on property and a convenience store on the corner.

Great place, we’ve been back each time to Dublin.
