"The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!"
"Fantastic property and hosts. Breakfast, facilities and location are great. Linda and Steve made us very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend staying at Torwood House. Just beware that there is no off street parking at this property and we were unfortunate to be there on the weekend of the food festival that made street parking difficult. "This property is set in beautiful grounds and was very peaceful. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The continental breakfast, fruit, tea & coffee and other provisions in the room were more than ample. All in all, great value and would thoroughly recommend. "Stayed in one of the pods for a weekend. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Kitchen was about to close when we arrived, but they still served us a meal which was lovely. Pod was easy to access, spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything we needed."

Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door.
Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold.

"This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. "The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre.
