"We were two families who stayed at the serene modern lakehouse when we traveled to NS to attend a family funeral. We had great communication with the host. The house is very large and served us well for our large group; lots of different spaces to spread out. It has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, with one bedroom being on the main floor with direct access to a full bathroom. A large master suite upstairs has full ensuite and walk in closet. Plus three other bedrooms upstairs. The beds were very comfortable. Having two kitchens (2 fridges) was great. We used all the amenities including foosball, pool table, screened in room, deck, outdoor fire pit, paddle board, indoor gas fireplace and on-site laundry. The main kitchen is huge and well stocked with pots, dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc. While we didn't golf, it's on a beautiful golf course. The house has an amazing view of the lake, a large yard and its own dock. A few minutes walk is the Deerfield pub with amazing food, sports bar and live music on Friday night. We would definitely recommend the serene modern lakehouse. We really enjoyed our time there."
