"The property is beautiful, the staff helpful and the rooms clean albeit small with no refrigerator but located in walking distance to shops and the wharfs which was nice. However, no breakfast available on the premises.
The Italian restaurant located on the premises was not accommodating at all when we arrived tired and hungry. The hostess was incredibly rude."

"We have stayed at numerous B&Bs and Serenity Inn is among some of the best. I couldn't complain about anything and our 3 day/2 night stay was problem free and as great as we could've expected. The house and the grounds were clean, updated and welcoming, the breakfast was well made and thoughtful, the accommodations were excellent and the staff all had excellent attitudes. Close proximity to many places of interest. If we travel to Newport again, we will won't have to look far to where we shall...

"This was our last hotel stay after a week of traveling around New England and we were so tired, I was intimidated by the parking and unloading at first. But it was seamless! The instructions they gave were exactly as described, and the room itself was one of the best and most spacious we had used all week. The service at breakfast was wonderful as well! Kudos to the owners and the staff, if we are ever back in Newport we will definitely be back."

"I have no idea how the room was because they wouldn’t let us in it even though we paid for it until check out. I understand that we paid through a booking site rather than directly with them but if I notified them that I would arrive after staff left for the the night and not sure how late, I’m not sure how it is okay for them to mark us as a NO SHOW when we showed up extremely late but DID show up before check out. We ran into an emergency and were relying on the 2 hours we had left to take...

"Hydrangea House provided a lot of charm and a great location for our stay in Newport. The Winter Garden suite is spacious and quiet located on the third floor. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The huge shower is an experience and the towel warmer was an added treat. The breakfasts were so hearty we didnt need to eat lunch and the cookies were a delicious treat that came with evening turn down service. All the staff were friendly and added to a very pleasant stay. Would stay again."
