"A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. "

"The Walnut Tree Inn is a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed the large, tastefully furnished, room and bathroom and the food in the bar was very good. The two negative points would be the train noise every 15-30 until late into the evening and the sink in the bathroom was too shallow to actually wash in."

"Fantastic place for a stay over the MotoGP weekend. Warm friendly staff and very comfortable bed in a very pleasant room. Just two very minor observations - shower head positioning & water pressure. Sticky table in dining area. I would definitely stay here again."
