"I’ve stayed there once a year for several years. I think it’s the same owner during that time. Nice guy. Clean room, fairly quiet even though it’s next to a busy truckstop. No problems this visit except only one electrical outlet in the room worked and it wasn’t in the bathroom. Kinda strange but we worked around it. I’ll stay there again next year. "

Crabapple Cottage Your cozy temporary home

"This home was perfect for us! We were only in town for a state golf tournament so we were not at the property very much but it was close enough to easily access the interstate and get where we needed to be quickly. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We had no issues whatsoever and everything we needed was there. We would definitely stay here again if we need a place to stay in this area!"

For the price, this was excellent

"The hotel is dated, but the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, there was a nice (hot) standard breakfast, the indoor pool (while not a heated pool) was fantastic (and the hot tub was great too). Besides being dated, the only other down side of the hotel was we could hear the noise of Interstate 135 constantly from our room. Not sure if it's like that in the rooms that are across the hallway, but our room was on the interstate side and you could hear it."

"Our family was attending our grandson's college graduation. When we were looking for a place to stay during our visit we were unable to find housing close to the college at a reasonable price. We chose to look at VRBO properties in reasonable distance to the college. We found this home to be ideal for us. Everything worked out perfectly. This was our first experience with VRBO but certainly not our last. "

Riverfront Newton Vacation Rental Near Wichita!

Super cute house very close to Bethel

"We thoroughly enjoyed this house. It is an adorable two story 3 bedroom house that was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room downstairs to hang out together. The house is older so the floor creaks a bit, but it is updated very nicely with modern decor. The house had all the essentials we needed like dish soap, towels, hair dryer, etc. It was very close to Bethel College so I would highly recommend it for families visiting their college student. There is a rental company that texts all the information for check in/out. The owner doesn’t seem to reply on the app at all which is why I gave communication a 3, but the rental company (Evolve) sends automated texts with the info. "

"The descriptions, and the house are exactly as described. The neighborhood is quiet and most conveniences are a really short drive away.Myranda was quick to respond to any questions we had and easy to work with for check in. Her detailed descriptions of how things in the house work were perfect.The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you might have forgotten. The main bathroom has a shower that you won't want to get out of. It's not a huge house, but the way it's arranged, it really has an open, relaxed feel to it. The subtle Christian references were spot on and made my family feel at home. Bottom line, if you're wanting a conveniently located, quiet, relaxing place to stay in Newton, you found it in this listing. Should life bring us back to the area again, we will be renting this house again."
