"We stayed from Friday afternoon to Monday morning to celebrate my birthday. Beautiful spot and the house feels like a proper kiwi bach. Plenty of firewood although we hardly needed it as the place gets lots of sun. They rely on people leaving the place clean as it is a long way from anywhere and it was acceptable but not sparkling.The swimming is good nearby although there are warnings about the currents between the shore and the reef.Thank you."

"We had an incredible 3 night stay at Dara cottage. Beautifully clean, everything you need and lovely touches for example home made plum jam, fresh eggs, muesli, toast and an abundance of fruit. Dara cottage is perfectly situated to explore the area, "

"Beautiful character cottage. Very clean and well appointed. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Heat pump and electric blankets were wonderfully warm. "
