"Thank you Monika for a wonderful long weekend! I stayed at this property June 23-25, 2023. I was looking for a weekend in the mountains to do some hiking, and found this property at the last minute. You stay in a 3 bedroom apartment in the family's farmhouse just outside of Grindelwald, Switzerland. The property was clean and well-kept, linens were provided, and you can secure your apartment separately from the rest of the house. "6 of us spent 2 wonderful days hiking in and around Gimmelwald, including the cable car to the Schlithorn. The town was much more quaint than Murren and had amazing views from our deck. We stopped at the store in Lauterbrautten to get groceries and created our own breakfasts and packed lunches."

"From booking to arriving and then leaving the process was very easy. The chalet itself is stunning, photos I saw prior to arriving did not do the property justice. This is without a doubt the best property we have booked in Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen is stunning and has numerous restaurants and shops. Parking in town can be difficult, but there is a path across from the chalet that is a lovely cycle into town. I will book this again next year. "

"Gimmelwald is like a fairytale and Husmättli is a wonderful house to stay in. The view of the mountains and waterfalls are really a sight to see. Gino, the host, is very nice as well. If you have the chance to stay here, please do. You will be happy you did."

"Our stay was great. Hosts were lively and lovely. They showed us around personality. Were handy with great local tips. It was in a rural setting with lovely sarrounding. Plenty of activities around. Major centres like Interlaken Grindelwald, Lucerne within an hour's reach. Equipped kitchen, without microwave though, only one bathroom/ toilet if that matters. Else was nice stay and loved it. Will recommend and will book again in future"

"The building is about 150 years old but has all the modern conveniences. The staff who checked us in was very informative and helpful. Our room had a good view of waterfalls and cliffs surrounding the area."

"We loved this place!!!! It was like a fairytale. The view from our room was awesome! Also, the servers in the restaurants were friendly and helpful . Our room was cozy, beds comfy, and big for all of us! Three of us stayed and even the couch bed was comfy. We were close to BLM train and not far from cable car. There was hiking and access to the flower park which my kids loved. We hiked to Gimmelwald too Back up actually and it was hard but my kids did it! They even paraglided ! 5 stars!! We didn’t want to leave "
