"Loved our stay at this hotel! The breakfast buffet had a wide selection and everything tasted really good. The hotel rooms were super clean and tidy. They provided us with fresh towels everyday and hung it on our door (we put up the do not disturb sign most days). We had the two double beds room and it was spacious. Washrooms/bathroom - very good size, very clean! Their “library/cafe area” was very nice to hang out in. They provided warabimochi for guests during our stay between 14:00-17:00, refreshments also available. There are 3 laundry machines and 3 dryers, not too many but enough. It is super close to Toji station, a Lawson, Aeon mall and even Kyoto Station is 15 min. walk away. Staff were super nice, knowledgeable and spoke English very well. Ask for a list of restaurants in the area, they have a recommendation list at the ready! :)"

"This Potel was amazing, the staff were so kind and helpful, the room was huge compared to all our other stays in Japan, even had a balcony big enough to sit and see the view. The area was gorgeous, so lush and peaceful, great stay overall and right by station to go to busier areas"

"We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke English, which is especially convenient for travelers who haven’t learned much Japanese yet. The traditional Japanese-style breakfast was absolutely delicious and easily one of the highlights of our stay. The staff serving breakfast were wonderful as well and made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is also incredibly convenient—the train station is right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to get around and explore Kyoto. And lastly, the onsen was fantastic! It was clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Between the wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, convenient location, spotless rooms, and relaxing onsen, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Kyoto!"
