"Lovely stay at Versilia Lido UNA Esperienze for 5 nights!
The property is spacious and has a relaxed resort atmosphere. We were kindly upgraded to a large one bedroom apartment with a dining area balcony, which gave us plenty of space and we cooked in the apartment almost 5 nights stayed.
One feature we really appreciated was the in room washing machine with a built-in dryer. When you are travelling for a longer period, having laundry facilities inside the apartment is incredibly convenient and makes a big difference.
The staff were one of the strongest points of the hotel. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, and Federica at the front desk deserves a special mention. She was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, and made us feel very well looked after from the moment we arrived.
Breakfast was also very good, with fresh juices, a generous selection and plenty of healthier options. It felt fresh, well organized and more varied than many hotel breakfasts we experienced during our trip.
The location is particularly convenient if you are travelling by car. Free parking is available within the resort, and there is a large supermarket only about four minutes away by car. Since our apartment included a kitchen, we appreciated being able to buy fresh ingredients and prepare some meals ourselves.
Overall, the hotel feels bright, sunny and easygoing, with a friendly atmosphere that makes it enjoyable to return to at the end of the day."

At the time of my stay the pool access was restricted to entry via shower. So in theory it was not possible to leave your belongings on the pool side unless getting wet.
Crafty guests would remove the restricting barrier and enter the pool side.
Same goes for apparently compulsory swimming cap that needs to be purchased at the reception for 4 Euro. As pool is unattended and unchecked anybody can get in without the cap."
"I really liked this hotel. It’s near a bus stop and near a railway station (San Rossore). It’s just outside the city walls, with useful amenities (small supermarket, McDs, cafes) right outside. It felt really secure because you either need to buzz or use a key to get in. In less than a minute of leaving the hotel you walk through the gate of the city walls and are at the Piazza dei Miracoli complex. My room was smallish but lovely, with a side window that you could see the roof of the basilica from! As someone who nearly always ends up with a view of a car park this was so nice! Staff were lovely, looking after my bags when I arrived early and helping me with airport transfer info. Would definitely stay again."

Staff were either v helpful at check in ( a young lady, sorry I did not get her name) , or to lazy to help us later when room key to our room would not work , the gentleman on reception had my 69year old husband going up and down 3 times to get it fixed, blamimg us!!
Eventually he reluctantly came upstairs on my husbands insistance + agreed the fault was on their side, no apology given at all! V poor service.
