San Francisco is famous for many things, the golden gate bridge, great food, diversity, however it's most famous for unique architecture , especially Victorian style and bold colors. Sometime's I just enjoy taking a walk through neighborhoods with my camera and phone and often I get surprises such as this vibrant turquoise house. From the tile steps to the bold floral landscape this one definitely stood out.

"The staff at this establishment were so helpful and polite. They were able to accommodate all of my requests (late check-out, keeping my luggage safe while I went sightseeing before a late flight, and printing me a new key when I forgot mine). The area outside the hotel seemed safe AND the hotel had 24/7 hotel security which eased my mind about being a solo traveler in a new city. I'd highly recommend Cup of Joy coffee shop on the corner for a grab and go breakfast or Crostini and Java a couple blocks up. 10/10 stay here!!"

"Beautiful 1914-constructed property, complete with external fire escape. Lovely period features. Immaculately maintained. Family-owned. Thoughtful small features, like a bath duck, large walk-in closet (Room 1105), iron, ironing board, fridge. Free tea, coffee and cookies in the foyer. Lovely non-franchise feel with great personality. Right on Union Square with cable tram running past front door. 10-min walk to Moscone conference centre. 5min walk to BART and MUNI transport."
