"Our stay was very good, we loved it!! Villa Romana tried to sell us a taxi ride from Salerno to Minori for 120 €. We took the ferry for 9 € / pers and it took about the same time (1hour). From the dock in Minori, it was a 5 minutes walk. "

"Alexis and Angelo were wonderful. The space is gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and it was easy to find. There was some loud music late night one night that made for a rough sleep but Angelo and Alexis made sure that it didn’t happen again. Casa Santangelo is a wonderful stop in Salerno if you want to get away from the crowds of the hotels with easy access to ferries, restaurants, and other sites. "

Exhausted we napped only to have the owner banging on the door (not using the buzzer system) loudly and aggressively demanding the tax money of 15 euros. "We had an amazing stay at Pompeii Suite Giovanna and I would highly recommend. Our suite was a short walk to the city center, spacious, nicely decorated, and spotless. Alfonso and Sonia were fantastic, would could not have asked for better hosts. Sonia's homemade Italian breakfasts were delicious and as well has her pasta dinners. "Alfonso and Sonia were wonderful hosts! Their place was about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Pompei. It was very clean and they were available to us throughout our stay. There was a slight misunderstanding re: washing of clothing, but this was due to language barriers and nothing else. In fact, when we realized the issue, Sonia went out of her way to address our concerns. They were truly exceptional hosts!"
