Excellent stay, wonderful staff, accommodation and location.

We booked this hotel for a two night stay - pre cruise. We are still in awe of our stay here at The White Star Tavern Hotel. From the moment we walked through the door right through to when we left for our cruise 2 days later the staff, Bridgit, Emma, Becca, Mina, Jack, Mack, Kyle, everyone was just amazing, friendly, professional, fun, helpful....The Best!! The Pub restaurant is just amazing. Best hot breakfast menu along with superb food for dinner & lunch. Bartenders, Jack & Mack make the...

Property managed to get it just right! Super historical and atmospheric yet still very comfortable. The bed was cozy and the rooms quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again. Breakfast was made to order and excellent! Parking was tight yet present and free. Hotel was 3 blocks from city center and 2 blocks from cathedral. Perfect placement. Do yourself a favor and choose to stay here!!

Beautiful Place. Horses clip clopping by. Wonderful food and comfortable room

Awesome, beautiful, friendly…The best hotel I’ve stayed at yet! This is a must stay!! Thank you all!

Great ambience, delicious food, lovely and helpful staff, very clean and pleasant property. We slept well. Really it’s an ideal inn stay, wish we could stay longer, if only to eat more food. Breakfast was that good.

Traveling from the USA , this is the second time we have stayed here visiting family in the area, great location , food and staff.

This was a beautiful bed and breakfast near a place we stayed for a wedding. We loved the town which is within walking distance. Breakfast was amazing

Don’t miss meeting Bongo, the pub kitty, while staying here! Welcoming staff and accommodations are at the price point. Would stay again.

The Crown is everything you would expect from a Old World Inn, low beams, uneven floors and a feeling of warmth and age but still with service and comfort one would expect in a five star Inn.

Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. We found their restaurant had a...

We booked the Swan Inn for a night’s stay before boarding our cruise. The rooms were comfortable and nicely appointed. There was a pub nearby via taxi for dinner. We had some light snacks and beer in the bar before retiring for the night. We will certainly consider The Swan for our next stay in Southampton.

The dinners and breakfasts were wonderful and the inn hosts were amazing.

Modern restaurant with olde hotel attached. Windy, crooked stairs to small, adequate room. Unique back, night entry with small door in the bigger door (you'll have to try it). Slept well. Ate well. Nice people. Cute town to wander if you bundle up

By sheer chance we ended up at the Three Cups - and it is a delightful family run traditional (as in 500 years old traditional) coaching inn. The food was fantastic, both at dinner time and breakfast. Very personal attention paid to everything. Beautiful gardens, with streams running through. The village is spectacular, with wonderful little shops, as well as the trout streams running right through.

Absolutely loved the location, decor/quality of the accommodation, fantastic food, and overall charm. We will return!!

Very nice Pub and Inn in the village of Soberton. The staff was friendly and accommodating. In the restaurant the food was excellent.
