This hotel was a perfect find. We wanted to stay near, but not in, Southampton for a cruise the next day. and we happened upon this gem. It is in the heart of a very quaint, clean little village, perfect for relaxing after flying over from the US. The staff was exceptional

Recently renovated, every aspect of the property and design choices are exceptional. The dinner menu creations were inventive and delicious. However, our room No. 36 was without WiFi. (“Hotel WiFi not connected to internet.”) And you cannot adjust the room temperature using the thermostat. A+ regardless.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Chilworth Manor while visiting Stonehenge, Avebury Stones, and Salisbury Cathedral. The property was once a manor and has evolved into a comfortable, well-maintained hotel, with substantial grounds and walking trails. The trails could use better upkeep. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel; the food and service were perfectly fine. Our only real drawback was that our third-floor room was accessible only by stairs, with no lift. The hotel is well managed and maintained. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were great. Room was also excellent. The surrounding area currently has construction work, but that will no doubt end soon. There are limited dining options in the area and no shopping options. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel for a two night stay - pre cruise. We are still in awe of our stay here at The White Star Tavern Hotel. Great breakfast & air conditioning!!

Great hospitality. A clean and pleasant place. Good breakfast. Although we arrived late at night due to airport issues, the host waited for us and welcomed us warmly. On the day we left, we had a few hours before boarding our cruise he stored our luggage and recommended places to visit.

It was perfect, hotel undergoing a refurbishment but no noise or inconvenience. Staff v friendly. Great bfast

The hotel location was walking distance to the Norwegian Cruise Line terminal which worked out perfectly. It was also a quick walk from the bus that we took in from London after flying in. Great atmosphere, great food, and just a overall great time. Would definitely return!

This Was a very nice place to stay the night before our cruise. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Came in on a cruise ship. At 9:30 am we arrived by cab, not knowing if we would have to wait until 2:00 check in. They actually checked us in upon arrival and we were able to relax and not worry about dragging our luggage around. I would have given an excellent rating except for the carpeting that was quite stained in our room. The bar/restaurant was great with good food and beer. Saved us from going out.
