Our overnight stay was absolutely wonderful! The décor throughout was charming and beautifully suited to the historic character of the building—it felt like stepping back in time, but with every modern comfort. The staff were the true stars—warm, accommodating, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. They made us feel welcome and well taken care of, making the whole experience even more memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort with a touch of history!"
"A wonderful hotel! As soon as you step inside the lobby, it feels cozy and warm… and the smell is beautiful. The customer service was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean and comfy. The town of Queensferry is very quaint with a number of nice restaurants and pubs but is about a 15 min walk. Theres very little in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but you really dont need it as the hotel has a nice restaurant and everything you need. I’d highly recommend"
"We only stayed at the Richmond Park Hotel for one night as we were meeting other family members to do the Bo’ness & Kinneil steam train trip. The hotel is lovely with welcoming efficient staff. The copper kiln bar & restaurant is cosy and there is an outside area with picnic tables and chairs for summers evenings. We stayed in a superior king room & it was spacious and very comfortable, Bar & food prices are very reasonable and we had an excellent stay.

"Amazing opportunity to stay in a real castle with such a rich history. The staff, especially Jon, were outstanding. Everyone was so accommodating. It seems like they have been making constant improvements to the property. The spa closes early (6p) and several amenities in the spa were out of order. I stayed in a private room so cannot speak for the dorms, however, our room was satisfactory, cool and comfy.
I stayed only 1 quick night so wasn’t able to enjoy any activities besides sleeping, but they seem to have schedules of things going on in (or around?) the hostel.
