But decided to give it a shot. It exceeded every expectation and more. It was meticulously clean and had anything you could want. "We arrived to the property to find that the temperature inside the house was approximately 40 degrees. We set the Google nest to 80 and it said that it would take 2 hours to warm up. We waited about an hour and didn't seem that any heat was coming out. We called the number associated with the property to get routed to a third party management company with an SF number but may have been a call center outside of the country. They told us that they would "set the thermostat remotely" to 80 and that it should warm up. After about 10 minutes it was clear that was not working. I also noticed an uncovered attic in the roof of the 2nd floor so I can't imagine how that house would ever heat up efficiently while claiming to be a very eco-conscious owner. After a very unhelpful back and forth with this 3rd party management we had to leave as we were all literally shivering with cold, including our just barely 1 year old infant who was freezing even in a heavy winter jacket. The space heaters they told us to use stopped working after about half an hour as it was clear there was a house wide electrical issue they did not want to admit too. They told us that they would send someone to fix the problem immediately and let us know asap if we could come back later that night or the next morning. We heard nothing back and had to stay at a hotel nearby as it was too late to drive back home and the baby needed to sleep immediately. Issue never resolved and we requested to cancel the reservation."

"Beautiful cabin! Cozy, espectacular views and great hiking. Very comfortable and the owners did a great job providing snacks, coffee, water, wood for the fireplace. Wish we had stayed longer, but we are definitely will stay there again!"
